I’ve been writing my story in sections, as the ideas come to me. There’s one distinct problem about this method though… my tone is one section is completely incongruous  with my tone in another. Like, one’s light-hearted and witty, and the next is a gritty recollection of war-time events, and a third is a shitty musing on the nature of death and how doctors can survive after being exposed to it for so long.

THEY DON’T FIT.

…maybe I can say it’s intentional, and it displays the progression of character. Yes that’s a good idea. It’s meta. A descent into melancholy. 

It’s a bit depressing, but it just might work. Maybe I can put a disney twang on the end - a subtle promise of restoration before the story closes. A happy note.

But then I’d need to find another -itty adjective to describe it.
